A GTA VI Mural Is Being Sketched on a Brooklyn Wall, RockstarINTEL Reports — Rockstar Has Not Announced It
The outline at Wythe Avenue and North 11th Street in Williamsburg shows the stacked logo, Jason and Lucia, and palm trees. There is no colour on it yet.
Reported — by RockstarINTEL on October 1, from photos posted on Reddit. Rockstar has published nothing about a mural, so who commissioned it and when it will be finished are not confirmed.
What is on the wall: an outline only, RockstarINTEL says: the stacked Grand Theft Auto VI logo in the centre, with Jason and Lucia holding guns and palm trees around them. No colour had been added when the photos were taken. The wall is at Wythe Avenue and North 11th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Why it reads as official: RockstarINTEL calls it an “official GTA 6 mural” and points to Rockstar’s habit of painting large walls before a Grand Theft Auto launch. That is the outlet’s reading. Nothing from Rockstar says so yet.
The pattern: it follows the posters outside UK shops and the sign on the Kaseya Center roof in Miami: marketing that turned up in public with no announcement.
What we do not know: who is painting it, what the finished artwork will be, and whether other cities will get one.
