A Goodyear Blimp in “Vice City” Colours Has Left Ohio, Fans Report
Photos shared by airship spotters show Wingfoot Three with VICE CITY on its sides and a GTA VI logo underneath. Neither Rockstar nor Goodyear has announced it.
Reported — RockstarINTEL and GTA BOOM both published this on October 12, based on photos posted by members of a Goodyear Blimp fan group on Facebook. Rockstar and Goodyear have said nothing.
What the photos show, according to RockstarINTEL: Wingfoot Three (registration N3A), one of Goodyear’s Zeppelin airships, carrying VICE CITY lettering along its sides and the GTA VI logo on its underside, photographed at and leaving its hangar in Ohio.
Where it is going. GTA BOOM says flight-tracking site FlightAware showed N3A leaving Wingfoot Lake, Ohio at 8:37 AM Eastern on October 12, heading for Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Members of the fan group say the airship is on its way to Goodyear’s base at Pompano Beach, Florida. No official route or schedule has been published.
The limit of this story: the livery is known only from spotters’ photos, and the Florida destination is what group members say, not an announcement. A blimp was visible in Trailer 1; whether one can be flown in the game has not been confirmed.
