Jeff Berlin, the Voice of GTA IV and V’s Titles, Is Back for the GTA VI Launch Trailer, Geoff Keighley Says
The Game Awards host says Rockstar brought back the same announcer. Rockstar has not credited the voice, so this stays Reported.
Reported — Geoff Keighley, host of The Game Awards, wrote on X that Rockstar “brought back veteran announcer Jeff Berlin to voice the title, same guy who did GTA4 and 5.” Rockstar has not credited the voice, and Berlin has not posted about it, so we label this Reported, not Confirmed.
Who he is: Berlin is a radio imaging producer and voice-over artist. His own bio lists Rockstar among his clients and describes him as the voice of GTA IV. He reads the game’s title in the trailer; he is not a character in the game.
The limit of this story: one well-connected person said it, not Rockstar. If Rockstar or Berlin confirms it, we will change the label.
