GTA VI Umbrellas Are on South Beach, and Planes Are Towing “NINE1NINE” Banners
Branded umbrellas are boxed on the sand ahead of the weekend. Who is flying the banners is not confirmed.
Reported — GTA BOOM reports, citing reporter Joel Franco’s video and photos posted on X on October 14, that GTA VI umbrellas with the VI logo and palm art are staged on South Beach, still rolled up in boxes. A worker is quoted saying “they go up this weekend.” Vice City and VI beach chairs are also arriving.
The banners: planes towing “NINE1NINE” banners over Miami Beach were photographed on October 14, echoing a shot from Trailer 1. GTA BOOM says it is not confirmed who is behind the flights.
The limit of this story: neither Rockstar nor the City of Miami Beach has announced the beach campaign, and the city’s marketing deal was reported as unsigned on October 12. This is what has been photographed, not a confirmed campaign.
