GTA 6 Ships Single-Player Only — There Is No GTA 6 Online Yet
Rockstar has answered the question directly. Its PlayStation Store FAQ asks “Does Grand Theft Auto VI have any multiplayer modes or features?” and replies: “GTA VI is a single-player experience.” The press release uses the same wording, and no new GTA Online has been announced — no name, no date, no price. The existing GTA Online from GTA 5 keeps running after launch, and Take-Two’s Strauss Zelnick confirmed on the February 2026 earnings call that it stays supported. Nothing has been confirmed about carrying money, characters, properties or vehicles across — every previous Rockstar online mode started from a clean slate.
