Trailer 3: Still Not Announced — Every Date Going Around Is a Guess
There is no Trailer 3, and Rockstar has not dated one. Community expectation clusters around late July to mid-August, largely because Take-Two’s earnings call falls on August 7. Insider NateTheHate said on July 28 to expect “a fair bit of GTA 6” in August. Fans also spotted three backend updates to the GTA 6 website on July 29. None of that is a confirmation. Worth remembering: as of July 2026 there had been no true gameplay reveal — everything shown up to then was in-engine footage with no HUD, menus or mission structure.
Reported — and deliberately so, because there is nothing official here to report.
Rockstar has not announced a third trailer. The Newswire is the only place a trailer has ever been dated, and it has said nothing. Every date circulating is somebody’s inference.
Where the inference comes from: Take-Two’s fiscal Q1 2027 earnings call fell on August 7, and Rockstar has historically moved near Take-Two’s calendar. Insider NateTheHate said on July 28 to expect “a fair bit of GTA 6” in August. That is a leaker’s expectation, not a date.
Treat any “Trailer 3 confirmed for [date]” post as false until it appears on the Newswire. That is the only test that has ever worked.
