Rockstar’s Own Store Lists 13 Supported Languages for GTA VI — and Does Not Say Which Are Spoken
Checked on the official store page today: 13 languages, from English to Traditional Chinese. The widely repeated line that only English is voiced is not on that page — Rockstar gives one list and does not split audio from subtitles.
Confirmed — read first-hand today from the Supported Languages section of Rockstar’s own GTA VI store page.
The 13: English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, Polish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil).
The correction worth making: a lot of coverage this week turned that list into “English voice acting only, subtitles in 13 languages”. Rockstar’s page does not say that. It gives a single consolidated list with no audio-versus-subtitle breakdown at all. The dub question is genuinely open, and anyone stating it as settled is going beyond the source.
Why a store list counts as Confirmed: it is first-party published information about the product being sold, the same tier as the edition contents and the price. It can still change before November 19, and if it does we will say so here.
The limit of this story: a supported-languages list tells you what the game will ship with, not how it was localised. Until Rockstar publishes a breakdown, treat “is my language dubbed?” as unanswered.
