Rockstar Confirms “GTA VI: An Extended Look” — Netflix First on 27 August
Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. In its own words: “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET and will also launch on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9 p.m. ET on August 27.” That is a six-hour Netflix head start — the first time Rockstar has premiered GTA footage on a streaming service before its own channels. Rockstar has not stated a runtime, and has not said how much is gameplay versus cinematic; press coverage describes it as “more than just a trailer”, which is an expectation, not a confirmation.
