The Leak Saga’s Likely Ending: CyberLeek Cashes Out About $250,000 Hours Before the Extended Look
Wallet-watchers say the operation behind nine days of gameplay leaks sold out of its own $CYBERLEEK memecoin on August 27 — roughly $250,000 across four transactions, hours before Rockstar’s Netflix premiere. The daily leak cadence stopped with the payday.
From the first drop, CyberLeek’s clips carried QR codes and watermarked links pushing a Solana memecoin. On August 27 — with attention at its absolute peak, hours before the Extended Look — the creator wallet sold its entire allocation: about $146,000 in wrapped SOL plus accumulated creator fees, roughly $250,000 out in four transactions by GamesRadar+’s and Tom’s Hardware’s count (Dexerto tracked at least $265,000). The token price collapsed immediately after.
The commercial tell was there all along. Days earlier the group had asked 400 Monero (~$165,000) just for a “consultation” about advertising inside future leaks — gambling and adult content welcome, “no scams” — while its string of Ar.io mirror sites was being taken down for copyright infringement.
None of this is officially attributed — wallet analysis came from community sleuths and outlets, not a court filing, so it stays Reported. Take-Two filed DMCA subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord (due September 4, and covering a GitHub repository) and separately to X and Google; the pump-and-dump reading explains the leaks’ rhythm, but the leaker’s identity is still an open question.
